AMCP is committed to providing a safe environment for attendees and staff to “Ignite Action Together” during AMCP Nexus 2022 at Gaylord National Harbor.
To maintain the health and well-being of all Nexus 2022 participants, AMCP is implementing the following procedures. If you do not feel well, AMCP strongly encourages you not to attend Nexus 2022.
Masks
Masks are optional and welcome for all events during Nexus 2022.
Vaccination
You must provide proof of a COVID-19 vaccination before attending Nexus 2022 by completing the vaccination validation protocol prior to picking up your badge from the registration area. To facilitate the COVID-19 vaccine validation protocol onsite at Gaylord National Harbor, AMCP partnered with VOW Digital Health.
The validation process takes less than five minutes and includes:
- Having your license and vaccine card ready to scan into the system.
- Receiving a text message from VOW Digital Health asking you to complete the COVID-19 vaccine validation protocol soon after you register for the meeting.
- Receiving a VOW Verified confirmation once you complete the protocol.
- Receive a second text message with a VOW Verification code on Tuesday, Oct. 11 that you will be required to show prior to picking up your badge.
If you already completed the VOW protocol at Nexus 2021 or AMCP 2022, please register for Nexus 2022 using the same cell phone number you used during the registration process for those meetings. This ensures that you won’t need to update your license and vaccination card again. The system will recognize your name and will automatically send you a “cleared” confirmation.
AMCP will not have access to or keep records of your personal information. The VOW system will only let us know that your COVID-19 vaccination status has been verified.
Not fully vaccinated? Email us at meetings@amcp.org and we’ll assist you with following a separate protocol to verify a negative COVID-19 test 72 hours prior to arrival onsite.
For more information about VOW's privacy practices, visit their privacy page.
Specific questions regarding privacy concerns can be emailed to privacy@vow.app.
Greeting Other Attendees
AMCP will provide ribbons in the registration area to help you indicate your comfort level with social interaction during the meeting. If an attendee does not have a ribbon on that indicates their comfort level, we ask that attendees ask each other before shaking hands or hugging.
Hand Sanitization Stations
Hand sanitization stations are located throughout the meeting space.
Registration Cancellation Policy
Registration cancellations due to COVID-19 will be accepted and processed without cancellation fees at any time leading up to the meeting. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to AMCP@Maritz.com. For additional information on the Nexus 2022 cancellation policy, visit the Nexus 2022 registration page. There are no refunds on AMCP membership or AMCP Foundation events at any time.
