In this workshop, attendees will review the new accreditation standards required to be implemented by all programs by July 2023 for the design and conduct of a residency program. These standards include requirements related to program purpose, competency areas, goals and objectives, program structure, learning experiences, orientation, use of preceptor roles, evaluation, resident development plans, continuous residency program improvement, and preceptor qualifications.
Attendees may bring materials from their program for review during the workshop.
