Student Pharmacist and New Practitioner Programs

AMCP Nexus 2026 is the Place to be for Student Pharmacists!

AMCP welcomes student pharmacists to experience the many educational, networking, and career-building facets of Nexus 2026. Below are programs developed specifically for our student pharmacists and those who guide them.

AMCP Foundation Best Poster Competition | 5pm – 6pm (Expo Hall)

Showcasing innovative research by future leaders in managed care pharmacy, the AMCP Foundation Best Poster Competition recognizes outstanding work by student pharmacists, residents, fellows, and graduate students. Awards are presented in three categories, with eligibility limited to posters submitted under the Student (Non-Reviewed) option.

Student Pharmacist & New Practitioner Networking Reception | 5:30–6:30pm; Sponsored by The National Pharmaceutical Council (NPC)

Student pharmacists and new practitioners are invited to network with established managed care pharmacists who will share advice, career opportunities, and life experiences.

Wednesday, Oct. 28

AMCP Managed Care Pharmacy Residency and Fellowship Showcase | 5–7pm

The AMCP Managed Care Pharmacy Residency and Fellowship Showcase helps residency and fellowship preceptors, directors, residents, and fellows build connections with prospective candidates and share valuable information about their managed care programs.

The showcase will be open exclusively to P4s from 5–6pm, then to all attendees from 6–7pm.

Be sure to also stop by the AMCP Foundation table to learn about internship opportunities, as well as the AMCP Executive Fellowship table to explore this unique program. Don’t miss the chance to connect and learn more!

Book a table at the Residency and Fellowship Showcase

Participation in the Showcase costs $150 for ASHP-accredited Residency Programs. Non-accredited residency programs, fellowships, and internship programs are charged $350. All exhibit personnel MUST be registered for Nexus 2026. Costs associated with registration are the responsibility of the individual and are not paid/reimbursed by AMCP.
